Fancy a visit that is as surprising as it is breathtaking? The Luzenac talc quarry, 25 kilometres from Ax-les-Thermes, is the answer, as it is a site that reaches a height of 1,800 metres and is also one of the largest talc quarries in the world! To discover this breathtaking site, guided tours are organised by the tourist office from mid-May to mid-October (subject to good weather conditions).
